The AirSense 11 is available in three primary modes: AutoSet, CPAP, and Elite, each designed for specific therapy needs. 

Once the order is placed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please reply to it if you want a specific mask and a cushion size. If we have it, it will go out with your order, otherwise a random mask with a medium size cushion will be shipped.

Three Available Modes

The AirSense 11 is available in three primary modes: AutoSet, standard CPAP, and Elite. For the AutoSet version (or APAP/Auto-Adjusting PAP), the algorithm is designed to respond to patient breathing patterns with breath-by-breath adjustments, making therapy a tailored experience that can follow any changes during the night. The standard CPAP version uses set pressure settings determined by the patient or by a healthcare provider during the titration process. The Elite version is also a fixed-pressure device but includes additional features such as advanced event detection for conditions other than sleep apnea.

AutoSet For Her Mode

The AirSense 11 also includes AutoSet for Her mode, an additional setting tailored to treat female-specific characteristics such as mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. 

Sleek New Design

The AirSense 11’s sleek, modern design gives it an aesthetically pleasing appearance, requiring minimal space on the bed stand and resembling a small computer or tablet with its LCD touchscreen and simple, intuitive menu. 

Smart Features 

Following the trajectory of past AirSense models, the AirSense 11 includes the most advanced and up-to-date smart features available, including a built-in cellular modem, remote monitoring options, and even remote updating for the system software. Sleep reports and settings adjustments are just a click away,  and wireless cloud computing technology allows access from other devices as well. In addition, the AirSense 11 can use voice-activated responses and video tutorials to guide the patient through setup or troubleshooting. 

HumidAir Humidifier with Climate Control 

The integrated HumidAir heated humidifier is the ResMed patented Climate Control solution offering further comfort and relief from potential dryness or congestion. Depending on patient preference, the humidifier can be controlled manually or automatically with the Climate Control feature.

Expiratory Pressure Relief 

Expiratory pressure relief (EPR) adjusts the pressure during exhalation in order to maintain a comfortable pressure level when the user inhales each breath. This allows the user to breathe normally and without interference throughout the night.

MyAir Sleep Data Management

The ResMed myAir application is continually improving to support and facilitate patient access to therapy data. MyAir uses data from the machine to let you know how you slept the night before, and provide tailored coaching tips and encouragement. The myAir app tracks the amount of time patients spend using therapy, the number of sleep apnea events (and/or hypopnea) per hour, mask leak, and the number of times a mask is removed, making this data available through any device connected to the internet.

Remote Upgrades

Along with its other smart features, the AirSense 11 can perform regular updates to its software. These updates can be automated, or selected remotely by the user. This over-the-air upgrade capability can greatly improve the device with new and advanced features, as well as fix any potential software-related problems. 

Remote Support with AirView 

ResMed’s AirView patient monitoring system allows medical professionals to access patient data, make device adjustments, and contact the patient through the cloud. This allows quick access for providers, and also enables the sharing of treatment records with other health professionals, which can reduce costs and improve treatment outcomes. 

Voice Activated Guidance and Tutorials

The AirSense 11 includes new coaching applications that can help patients set up treatment, make adjustments for optimal therapy, and provide solutions to problems that may arise. The Care Check-In system gives patients coaching and assistance tailored to meet their specific needs. And the Personal Therapy Assistant provides interactive step-by-step tutorials through the myAir application. And with the patient’s consent, healthcare providers can also see their patients’ responses to the questions in AirView, giving them access to treatment events or developments.
